Ettia Spa Case Study




Our client originally came to us off of a brochure design we had recently worked on. We were tasked with redesigning the clients website. They were using a  Shopify template site with minor customization.




The current site was using heavy blues and a thick cursive style font. We wanted to change the whole perception of the spa and create the source of relaxation.



The Process


Let's face it, most of us use our cell phones and devices to plan and live our lives. This is pivotal for a small business because the first interaction your customer has with your establishment is on the web and most likely through a smartphone. We needed to lighten up the site make the blue feel more relaxed and choose imagery that gave us the lux feeling.

We already created a heavy white space design on the brochure so that style naturally extended to the web. We started by losing all header bar colors and really opening up the space. Thin light colored san serif fonts to really make the white space the focal point. Even to the header images were on white backgrounds By visually creating a clean open space puts the potential customer in a relaxed mood.

we wanted to make a visually pleasing site so people would look around and spend more time on the site. We went the stock photo route and looked for images that were very similar, but hi-res clean imagery coupled with detailed packages is adding for more engagement with products. For the abandoned carts there is a process in place that allows you to email the customer about the abandoned items, helping my client get that extra chance to make the sale. The thing we wanted to do above all else was to have a robust indexing system. There are so many services with different time frames we wanted customers to be able to find what they wanted quickly and easily. Using unifying service images ties everything together visually and helps someone realize if they are in the right place easily.
