We receive hundreds if not thousands of emails a day. Most selling you the best deal of the day or announcing a hot new release. I am no exception, and most of the email I receive ends up in the trash. One email seemed to catch my attention and I actually open it. An AIGA invite to a Paula Scher book signing.
When smart devices entered the market they opened the capabilities of what we could do with a phone. When Apple introduced the App Store it completely revolutionizedwhat we were able to do with a smartphone. It allowed developers to create apps that utilized the new found power in each of our pockets. In order to be a remote worker you need to have the proper hardware, but it doesn’t stop there. Software is the key to harnessing the hardware to create something great. The following list is a collection of apps I think any remote worker or business owner should be without.
Two weeks ago Apple launched iOS 11 ahead of the iPhone 8 release. This is an exciting time for most iPhone and iPad owners because it is usually when we gets some new features and an updated look. Apple has been consistent with the design of iOS. They overhauled the look of iOS back with the release of iOS 7, and since then there have been incremental changes. This year is a little different.
Being a remote worker can present certain problems that aren’t as prevalent in an office setting. Including everything from WiFi connectivity to actual mobility. This list goes over some of the best tools for a mobile designer or any remote warrior for that matter.

Since November of 2015 I have been infatuated with the iPad Pro and the ability to become untethered to a desktop computer. During my first iPad Pro posting, Seven Ways The iPad Pro is Making Me a More Efficient Designer, I discovered that although it was helpful the iPad Pro wasn’t a complete replacement to a dedicated desktop or laptop.

One of the first things Bigger Creative Agency wanted to do when their site went live was to have a blog page. Someplace to show what the agency was up to, tips, reviews, and opinion pieces. The only problem was keeping up with the posts. Even though they were getting great traction, the blog focused mainly on lists. Creative Director Brian Anthony came up with a plan to hold the agency accountable as well as offer their clients and fans more diversity. The blog is now called Bigger Design Blog and is separated into six key sections:
This isn’t your average holiday wishlist. It’s that time of the year when we think about our fellow family, friends, colleagues, and designers. Show them how we appreciate them and go out and get them something meaningful, helpful, or flashy. It’s the one year anniversary for the blog and last year’s list divided gifts into price ranges.
